Dear Friends:

The Chinese Christian Conference Committee would like to welcome you, your families and friends to the 2004 Chinese Christian Conference at Lynchburg, Virginia on May 28 to 31.

The registration procedures and related information for the 2004 conference are as follow:

1.   All conference attendees must register through their affiliated local Church/ Bible study group by May 6, 2004.  No individual registration will be accepted to the conference.

2.   All conference expenses are covered by registration fees and individual donations at the conference.  To encourage a greater number of attendance and to alleviate financial burden from some of us, we are keeping the registration fees at an affordable level to everyone.  Thank the Lord for He has always provided us enough in the past.  We trust He will do the same in the years to come.

The estimated cost per person (based on 700 attendees) for the 3-day conference is approximately $175 which includes:

 

(i)          accommodation:                             $80 -- pay to the camp site

(ii)          meals:                                             $70 -- pay to the camp site

(iii)         camp site insurance:                        $10.00 -- pay to the camp site

(iv)         other expense                                 $15.00 -- child care for grades 6 and

                                                                                      lower, speaker fees,

                                                                                      handbook fees etc.

 

3.   Due to the limited number of hotel rooms available, in the event of excessive requests for hotel room accommodation, hotel room assignments will be made according to the priorities below:

 

(1)        people with special needs

(2)        elders

(3)        first come first serve

       

        If your request of a hotel room accommodation is not honored, the Registration Committee will call to notify you in advance.

 

4.  The registration forms of all youths (grades 12 and lower) register for the conference must be signed by the youths' guardians (i.e., parents, Church/Bible study group leaders).  All youth will be assigned to the same Lodge as his/her guardian.

 

5.  Every one must be in their own lodge by 12 midnight. All church group leaders will be responsible for taking all head count. Camp security will also be enforcing this issue.

Dear Church/Bible Study Group Leader:

It is, once again, the time for the Chinese Christian Conference at Lynchburg, VA.  The registration procedures for the 2004 Conference have been changed slightly.  Please note the following new registration procedures and the related information.

 

1.     Prior to making duplications of the registration forms and cover letters, please be sure to fill in the name and address of your Church/Bible study group's coordinator on the master copy.  This year, we require that all conference attendees to register through their affiliated Church/Bible study group; therefore, please ask your coordinator to collect all completed registration forms from your Church/Bible study group members and mail them all at once to Mr. Isaac Chen by May 6 2004.  Mr. Chen's address and phone numbers are:

2.         The registration form of every youth (grades 6 to 12) register for the conference must be signed by a guardian.  The guardian may be the youth's parents, pastor, or Church/Bible study group leader.

 

3.         There will be no Youth lodge this year,  All youth will stay in the same lodge as their
 parents, or church group leader.

 

4.        Each church/bible study group may establish scholarships to assist your needy conference
attendees.

 

5.    Our experience tells us that conference attendees from the same church/bible study group
       prefer to stay at the same lodge.  Therefore, a lodge will be assigned to a church/bible study
       group.  Each church/bible study is responsible for assigning rooms within a lodge.   Please
